Óbidos Medieval Market is a historical recreation event that transforms the town of Óbidos into a market village in the Middle Ages. During 16 days, jesters, fire eaters, dancers, musicians and minstrels invade the town transporting visitors to another dimension. In 2012, maintaining liaison with “Casa das Rainhas”, the town will recreate the marriage ceremonies of Dom Afonso V and Dona Isabel of Coimbra. It is in this atmosphere that visitors begin their journey through time… among taverns where food and drink, artisans and merchants come from the four corners of Portugal.

Until August 12, Thursday through Sunday (Thursday 5 pm to midnight, Friday 5pm to 1am, Saturday 12 pm to 1 am, Sunday 12pm to midnight) in the former training grounds of Óbidos. Entry 6 euros.
